Education, Interpretation & Integration
Ayurveda is a Sanskrit term that comprises two words: ayur (life) and veda (science or study).

An Ancient Science
This “science of life” was developed in India thousands of years ago, to help alleviate human suffering. According to Ayurveda, there are three fundamental bio-elements present in the body, known as the doshas. Every person has a unique elemental makeup, which is referred to as their Ayurvedic Constitution. The doshas are as follows:
- Vata = Air and Ether
(To Change)
(Dry, Cold, Light, Movement) - Pitta = Fire and Water
(To Focus or Transform)
(Heat, Liquidity, Sharpness) - Kapha = Earth and Water
(To Nourish)
(Structure, Heaviness, Lubrication)

Traditional Medicine
Today Ayurveda, India’s Traditional Elemental Based, Medical System, is utilized around the world as a way of living, and a powerful form of understandable, accessible, Holistic Medicine.
By determining which Dosha is in excess and creating an imbalance in the body, a path to healing can be created with Ayurvedic nutrition, remedies, and lifestyle choices.
